Project:

• Affiliate Company of Virgin Mobile set a goal to build a top performing offshore racing boat from all green or low environmental impact materials.
• Required that the boat hull be built out of a low toxicity resin that had outstanding strength and performance characteristics.

Action:

• Boat building team tested several different resin materials for the required specifications.
• Chose KoreKote epoxy system (KR24/H420) as the material to build the boat hull.

Result:

• First high performance offshore racing boat built from all green or low environmental  materials with a KoreKote epoxy system as one of the key structural materials.
